When you purchase a Legend or Legacy product, a portion of the proceeds goes towards the HBCU scholarship initiative. HBCUs, or Historically Black Colleges and Universities, were established in the United States before the Civil Rights Act of 1964 to provide educational opportunities to Black Americans who were previously excluded from predominantly White institutions. Today, HBCUs still serve a vital role in providing higher education to underrepresented groups and promoting academic diversity. Shipping Policy

Lit Moments Candle Company ships all orders via USPS. Standard processing typically takes 5-7 business days, as candles are poured in small batches and sometimes made to order. Please note that processing time does not include the transit time once the package leaves our studio. You will receive a shipping notification with tracking information once your order has been shipped from our NC Studio.

Once your order has left our studio, we are unable to redirect shipments or liaise with courier services on your behalf. Please get in touch with the carrier directly using the tracking information provided via email. For the protection of the candles during extremely hot weather conditions, we only ship orders Monday through Thursday, excluding holidays.

Currently, Lit Moments Candle Company does not offer international shipping. However, we are actively working to expand our shipping capabilities to reach customers worldwide.

Please be aware that prices are subject to local taxes and shipping fees, if applicable.

Lit Moments Candle Company is not responsible for any misuse of products or improper storage by the customer.

Special shipping rates do not apply to wholesale, bulk, or custom orders. Shipping costs for such orders are calculated at the time of shipping and are based on item weight and dimensions for special orders.

Returns Policy

All products undergo careful inspection before shipment; therefore, we do not accept returns or offer refunds unless the product was damaged during shipping and photographic proof is submitted to info@lit-moments.com within 7 days of receiving the product(s). We do not accept returns or exchanges based on product scent preference or fragrance throw expectations. For candles, reed diffusers, and room mist, consider purchasing our discovery kits to help you select fragrances you love before purchasing the full-size product.

If the product is damaged, you may return your unused products within 7 days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price, excluding shipping and handling. The customer is responsible for paying return shipping charges.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
